Based in Nederland, Colorado, Blackdog came out of the New York funk/rock scene of the late 80's and has shared stages with Taj Mahal, Henry Butler, Daryl Anger, Blues Traveler, Fred Wesley, Derek Trucks, Phish, James Cotton, Phish, Duke Robillard, Leftover Salmon, Zachary Richard, Yonder Mountain String Band, Tony Furtado, and Adrian Legg, to name a few.
